Edgecrusher was founded by vocalist Igor in march 2002. After doing its first footsteps the band grew to an unity and had just one member being exchanged within 2 years.

The band members were: Igor (vocals), Jan (rhythm guitar), Ivio (bass), Joe (lead guitar) & Stephan (drums).

Every single member was experiencing music and business in other local formations before they were involved in Edgecrusher. The sound of Edgecrusher is kind of difficult to describe but you can hear the band´s favourites and influences in every song. A little bit of Slayer, Testament, Machine Head, Sentenced and some Swedish Death Metal stuff. So in the end we would describe our music as melodic groovy Thrash Metal.

In the meantime Stefan nd Ivio left the band for several reasons. Markus (bass) and Jan (drums) joined the band in spring 2005. Many gigs followed with great bands like Disillusion, Cataratc, Born From Pain, Fear My Thoughts, Fragments Of Unbecoming and may more.

Edgecrusher recorded their first full length album "Forever Failure" in May 2006 at the Stage One Studios with producer Andy Classen (-ex HOLY MOSES). By now there has been a lot of positive feedback.

In october of 2007 Edgecrusher parts pways with Johannes Kostbar and Markus Eberle. Dennis Buffing enters the ship as new lead guitar player.
